The present invention relates to a method for producing a red ginseng extract with an increased non-polar ginsenoside content. More specifically, by using a method for heating and extracting red ginseng in water to remove a water-soluble material including polar ginsenoside and extracting and concentrating remaining residues with alcohol, a red ginseng extract with an improved function can be produced while remarkably increasing the content of non-polar ginsenoside.
