A method of treating psoriasis in an individual, comprising administering to said individual a first dose of an antibody or antigen binding portion thereof that are capable of binding to the p40 subunit of IL-12 and / or IL-23, with a first periodicity, and administering a second dose of said antibody or its antigen binding parts with the same frequency or with the second frequency for the treatment of psoriasis in an individual. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first dose of the antibody or antigen binding portion thereof is at least about 100 mg to 200 mg; at least about 100 mg; or at least about 200 mg. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the second dose of the antibody or antigen binding portion thereof is at least about 200 mg; or at least about 100 mg. 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the second dose of the antibody or antigen binding part thereof is similar to the first dose of the antibody or antigen binding part thereof or differs from the first dose of the antibody or antigen binding part. The method according to claim 4, wherein the second dose of the antibody or antigen binding part thereof is about 40-60% of the first dose of the antibody or antigen binding part; or about 190-210% of the first dose of the antibody or antigen binding portion thereof. 6. The method according to claim 1, where the first frequency of administration of the antibody or its antigennegative part is approximately once a week; about once every other week; or about once every four weeks. 7. The method according to claim 1, where the duration of the cycle of administration with the first periodicity is approximately 8 weeks.
