One embodiment of a universal wire driver attachment (106) comprises a driveshaft (116) forming a lumen (118) extending along a longitudinal axis (120). The driveshaft (116) forms a plurality of channels (126, 126a) extending perpendicularly from the longitudinal axis (120). The attachment (106) further comprises a plurality of primary jaws (134, 134a) movably disposed at least partially within the channels (126, 126a). The primary jaws (134, 134a) cooperate with the channels (126, 126a) such that the primary jaws (134, 134a) are constrained from moving in an axial direction along the longitudinal axis (120).
