To provide a blade for a mowing machine in which a large number of blade edges are bitten simultaneously and a state of stopping the rotation of the blades can be reduced, and provide a mowing machine.SOLUTION: A blade for a mowing machine comprises an upper blade and a lower blade. The upper blade and the lower blade are positioned vertically and rotated each other in the backward direction in the mowing machine. The upper blade and the lower blade have a body part and several blade edges positioned on an outer circumference of the body part, respectively. The lower blade has a shape making the upper blade turn upside down. The interval between the blade edges is a random interval in the upper blade and the lower blade. Also, the shape and arrangement of the blade edge of the lower blade match the blade edge of the upper blade of a state of making the upper blade turn upside down.
