PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape-type disposable diaper having a front patch the area of which is small, and also, is easy to bend in the vertical direction while being adjusted to the movement of the wearer.SOLUTION: The shape of the upper edge and the lower edge of the front patch is made into a shape in which recess sections and protruding sections are continuously repeated. Thus, the area of the front patch can be reduced, and the material cost of the diaper can be saved. The tape-type disposable diaper has been made conforming to the idea. Also, the front patch is made easy to bend in the vertical direction while being adjusted to the movement of the wearer by making the shape of the upper edge and the lower edge of the front patch into the shape in which recess sections and protruding sections are continuously repeated.
