PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shielding lid material for a rice container, which prevents deterioration of rice as contents and which has good appearances in a sealed state and an opened state, and a rice pack which uses the light shielding lid material and in which cooked rice is hermetically sealed and packaged.SOLUTION: In a light shielding lid material for a rice container, a base material layer, a first white layer, a black layer and a second white layer are provided in this order. Additionally, the light shielding lid material for the rice container is arranged on a bottom material for the rice container filled with cooked rice, in such a manner that the base material layer is directed outward, and hermetically sealed and packaged.
