PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch that has excellent light-blocking properties and a high degree of whiteness without having a metal layer, such as aluminum foil, and has excellent beautifulness without causing color shading and ink crack due to partial discoloration even when being subjected to retort sterilization.SOLUTION: A pouch is composed of a laminate including at least a base resin layer, a light-blocking printing layer, and a heat-sealable resin layer. The light-blocking printing layer is made up of a white ink layer that is in a range of 3.5 to 4.2 in weight ratio (pigment/resin) of a white pigment to a resin content, and a gray ink layer. A thickness of the white ink layer is in a range of 4-11 &mum.
