PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization unit capable of generating plasma arc over a whole longer direction of a linear electrode.SOLUTION: A sterilization unit includes: a cylindrical storage container closed at both ends and configured to house a sterilization object a ground electrode arranged along an inner peripheral surface of the storage container a linear electrode arranged so as to be alienated from and oppose the ground electrode inside the storage container and a high frequency power source configured to supply high-frequency current of 3-500 MHz to the linear electrode.
