PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing calcium/magnesium mass ratio in farm product with seawater and a cultivation method for farm product in which the farm product has reduced calcium/magnesium mass ratio, in which growth risk due to salt in seawater is suppressed and much desired mineral, particularly magnesium, is contained in the farm product.SOLUTION: There is provided a method in which farm product contacts to seawater in a predetermined period after germination of the farm product. For example, cultivation period from germination to harvest is previously designed according to farm product to be cultivated, predetermined period reversing from the timing of harvest is defined as second cultivation period, period reversing from the second cultivation period to germination is defined as first cultivation period, and the farm product is cultivated with successively using seawater during the second cultivation period so as to reduce calcium/magnesium mass ratio of the farm product or harvested farm product is immersed in seawater so as to reduced the calcium/magnesium mass ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】海水の塩分による生長リスクを抑制して、農作物に所望するミネラル、特にマグネシウム分を多く含む農作物を得るための、海水を用いた農作物中のカルシウム/マグネシウム質量比減少方法及び、農作物中のカルシウム/マグネシウム質量比を減少させる農作物の栽培方法を提供する。【解決手段】農作物の発芽時以降の所定の期間に、農作物と海水とを接触させる方法であり、例えば、栽培する農作物に応じて発芽時から収穫時までの栽培期間を予め設定して、収穫時から遡った所定の期間を第2栽培期間とし、当該第2栽培期間から遡って発芽時までの期間を第1栽培期間とし、前記第2栽培期間において海水を継続的に用いて農作物を栽培して、農作物に含有されるカルシウム/マグネシウム質量比を減少させるか、又は、収穫された農作物を海水に浸漬することにより、カルシウム/マグネシウム質量比を減少させる方法である。【選択図】図6
