PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bush cutter having good operability and load balance.
SOLUTION: The electric bush cutter is provided with an electric motor 2 at a rear end, a rotary cutting blade 29 attached to a tip end of a power transmission shaft 12 in an operation bar 4, a loop handle 26 supported at a middle part of the operation bar 4, a handle 6 to clamp the operation bar 4 between the loop handle 26 and the motor 2, a motor housing 1 covering the electric motor 2, and a battery 3 to supply electric power to the electric motor 2 and attachable to the rear end of the motor housing 1 by sliding from above, wherein the gravity center of the battery 3 is positioned just behind the motor 2.
