PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walk-behind lawn mower having a useful lifting up handle without requiring additional cost and weight.SOLUTION: The walk-behind lawn mower 10 includes a cutter 14 for cutting grass and a housing 11 covering the cutter from above. The housing 11 includes a front wall portion 31 which extends to the width direction to cover a front part of the cutter 14. The front wall portion 31 has a thickness dimension T1 more than twice a thickness dimension of the other portion 11g of the housing 11 and has a downwardly convex and curved bottom surface 31b.
