PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food washing device capable of removing easily a foreign matter or vegetable scraps floating on the water surface.SOLUTION: A food washing device (1) includes a washing tank (10) having a bottom wall part and a side wall part, capable of storing washing water up to a full water level, and a water receiving chamber (40) arranged adjacently to the washing tank (10), for receiving overflow water exceeding the full water level.
