PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of preventing water droplets of large size from being released indoors.SOLUTION: A mist generator includes a device body 1, a water storage chamber 8 disposed in the device body 1 for storing a prescribed amount of water, a mist generating portion 15 sucking the water in the water storage chamber 8 by centrifugal force by rotation, and scattering and crushing the water to generate nano-mists and negative ion, a blower fan 16 collecting dust and dirt in the air in the water of the water storage chamber 8 by making the sucked indoor air pass through the mist generating portion, and supplying the purified air indoors with the nano-mists and negative ion, and a gas-water separating portion 19.
