PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator which can favorably feed water to a water storage chamber.SOLUTION: A mist generator comprises: a solenoid 14 a float switch 25 which detects a lower limit of a water level in a water storage chamber 10 a mist generation part 20 which crushes stored water in the water storage chamber 10, and generates nano mist and negative ions a blower fan 21 which blows humidified air containing the nano mist and the negative ions which are generated at the mist generation part 20 into a room and a control part 38 which drives the blower fan 21, and performs mist drive for blowing the humidified air containing the nano mist and the negative ions generated at the mist generation part from a blowing port 4 formed at an implement main body 1. The control part 38 receives a signal which has detected the lower limit of the water level in the water storage chamber 10 of the float switch 25, carries electricity to the solenoid 14, starts water feeding by valve-opening a water feeding valve, makes counting means 26 start to count a time, stops the electricity carrying to the solenoid 14 by the count-up of a prescribed time, and valve-closes the water feeding valve.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】貯水室への給水が良好に行われるミスト発生装置を提供する。【解決手段】ソレノイド14と、貯水室10内の水位の下限を検知するフロートスイッチ25と、前記貯水室10内の貯水を破砕してナノミストと負イオンを発生させるミスト発生部20と、該ミスト発生部20で発生したナノミストと負イオンを含んだ加湿空気を室内に送風する送風ファン21と、該送風ファン21を駆動させ器具本体1に形成された送風口4から前記ミスト発生部で発生したナノミストと負イオンを含んだ加湿空気を送風するミスト運転を実施する制御部38とを備えたミスト発生装置に於いて、前記制御部38は、フロートスイッチ25の貯水室10内の水位の下限を検知した信号を受けて、ソレノイド14に通電して給水弁を開弁させて給水を開始させると共に、計時手段26に計時を開始させ所定時間のカウントアップでソレノイド14への通電を停止して給水弁を閉弁させるものである。【選択図】図2
