PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive water-supply apparatus that can be readily maintained.SOLUTION: There is provided a water-supply apparatus (12) including a main body (20) of the water-supply apparatus held in an outer casing (18). An inner casing (24) of the main body of the water-supply apparatus includes a tube (44) for introducing water into the inside through an upper lid (36) and a float (52) connected to the tip portion of the tube by an adapter (50). Water is discharged from an opened bottom portion of the casing into a storage portion, and is supplied from the storage portion to a water supply pipe (14) via a water supply pipe (66). When the amount of water in the vicinity of the water supply pipe increases, water is not supplied from the water supply pipe but accumulates in the casing from the inside of the storage portion. As the water level in the casing rises, the float also rises and buoyancy acts on the tip portion of the tube. Thus, the tube will eventually bend at its easily bent portion.
