[Problem] To provide an air purifying device which can be easily installed on top of a desired shelf, table, piece of furniture, or the like, and which is capable of fulfilling an air purification function. [Solution] Provided is an air purifying device (1) which is equipped with ion generating means (5a, 5b) capable of generating electrostatically charged water microparticles including ions, and which purifies air by atomizing the electrostatically charged water microparticles and releasing said microparticles into the air. The air purifying device (1) is equipped with: a main body casing (2) for accommodating the ion generating means, said casing comprising an accommodating member which is larger in the width dimension than in the height dimension an air blowing means (6) capable of blowing both the electrostatically charged water microparticles generated by the ion generating means and air flowing into air inlets and a mounting bracket (4) capable of mounting the main body casing (2) at an arbitrary position and at an arbitrary height.
