The present invention relates to a device for assisting walking and, more specifically, relates to a device for helping a user having mobility difficulties to perform the normal walking exercise. The device for assisting walking enables an elastic body to prevent the extension or the shrinkage for a fixed amount or more, due to an elasticity providing means positioned between a fixated frame and safety belt worn by a user, thereby securing the safety of the user.
