PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purifying device, capable of detecting a choked state in an artery side blood circuit while a blood pump is driven for reverse rotation to return blood.
SOLUTION: The blood purifying device is capable of returning blood between a connection part P with a displacement fluid supply line in the artery side blood circuit 1 and the tip of the artery side blood circuit 1 to the patient by reverse rotation driving the blood pump 4 for prescribed rotation quantity. The blood pump 4 is driven for reverse rotation for a plurality of times intermittently for prescribed rotation quantity in total in returning blood, and it includes a reverse rotation detection means 11 to detect when the blood pump 4 reversely rotates to the normal rotation drive side in a reverse rotation drive process.
