PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification device capable of avoiding an increase in the size of index detection means, and capable of detecting a state in which a flow channel composing a blood circuit is not attached to index detection means with a high degree of precision.SOLUTION: A blood purification device has a dialyzer 3 for purifying blood that flows through the blood circuit, and a squeezing pump for squeezing part of an artery side blood circuit in a solution sending direction, and includes a blood pump 4 for causing the blood to flow from the tip of the artery side blood circuit 1 to the tip of a vein side blood circuit 2 by driving, and index detection means 10 attached to a predetermined position of the blood circuit for detecting a predetermined index of the blood that flows through a flow channel at the predetermined position.
