PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purifier which can measure the pressure of the blood circuit upstream of the blood pump and prevents a blood clot from coming into the body of a patient when returning blood to the patient.SOLUTION: A dialyzer includes a blood purifier 1, a blood circuit 2 (comprising an arterial side blood circuit 21 upstream of the blood purifier 1 and a vein side blood circuit 22 downstream of the blood purifier 1), a positively and reversely rotatable blood pump 3, arterial side valve V1 mounted on the arterial side blood circuit 21 upstream of the blood pump 3, a vein chamber 23, a valve V2 mounted on the vein side blood circuit 22 downstream of the vein chamber 23, and a dialysate circuit 4 having a reverse filtration means.
