PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move quickly, a liquid such as urine to a lower absorber from an upper absorber, and diffuse a liquid in a longitudinal direction quickly.SOLUTION: An absorbent core 22 of an absorbent article 1 comprises an upper absorber 24 and a lower absorber 25. The upper absorber 24 is a sheet-state member in which a high absorbent material is fixed to a liquid permeable absorber sheet. The lower absorber 25 has a cluster of sheet-state pulp fibers. An upper groove area 247 of the upper absorber 24 has a density of the high absorbent material 242 lower than that in plural material existence areas 245. The lower absorber 25 has a lower groove part 252 which has a density of the pulp fibers lower than that on surrounding portions. The lower groove part 252 is overlapped with the upper groove area 247. In the absorbent article 1, a liquid such as urine which reaches to the absorbent core 22 can be quickly moved to the lower absorber 25 through the upper groove area 247.
