PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scissors with an electric-assist function designed to perform a sharing operation by total force of shear force generated by grip strength and shear force generated by power of a motor, which has excellent cutting workability.SOLUTION: In the scissors with an electric-assist function designed to perform a sharing operation by total force of shear force generated by grip strength and shear force generated by power of a motor and designed to shear a sheared object by opening/closing movement of a pair of cutting portions, which are constituted so that a pair of holding portions (levers) are connected to power through a wire for power transmission, detecting means for cutting force generated by grip strength is installed in one holding portion and the motor is turned of/off by the detecting means for cutting force, the wire for power transmission is fixed to an end portion of the one holding portion rotatably in a horizontal direction nearly orthogonal to the opening/closing direction of the holding portions.
