PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barley product which becomes cookable within 5 minutes without depending on an enzyme treatment, digestion, a puff treatment or the like.SOLUTION: Skin and bran of barley are removed by grinding or polishing, and after a conditioning process, partial destruction an internal texture of the barley is generated in a pressing process by performing pressing properly with a clearance of 0.5 mm or less.
