PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article and a manufacturing apparatus for an absorbent article, capable of disposing an absorber along a wearers body to restrain leakage of a body fluid.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes: a center absorbing part 31 in which an absorber 30 is located in the center in the width direction and a pair of outer absorbing parts 32 located on both outer sides in the width direction from the center absorbing part. The thickness of the center absorbing part is larger than those of the outer absorbing parts. The center absorbing part is disposed from the front end part of the absorber to the rear end part thereof. A compression part includes: a front compression part located ahead of the longitudinal center of the absorber and a rear compression part located in the rear of the longitudinal center of the absorber. The front compression part and the rear compression part extend over the pair of outer absorbing parts and the center absorbing part.
