PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of achieving good fitness even when a wearer takes exercise in a state of wearing the absorbent article.SOLUTION: There is provided an absorbent article (1) having a longitudinal direction and a width direction orthogonal to each other and having an absorber (10) with a prescribed basis weight. The absorber (10) comprises: a pair of both side low basis weight parts (16) each of which is provided on each of both sides in a width direction on a rear side of the longitudinal direction, and on which the basis weight is lower than the prescribed basis weight； a belt-shaped low basis weight part (18) which is provided between the pair of both side low basis weight parts, having a prescribed length in the longitudinal direction, and whose basis weight is lower than the prescribed basis weight.
