PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate production of an absorbent article comprising a pair of flexible belt members.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of an absorbent article, the absorbent article comprising in a state before the absorbent article is finished: an absorbent body: and a pair of flexible belt members which are laminated to the absorbent body and arranged in a width direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the absorbent body. The absorbent body comprises on both sides of a width direction, a leg-surrounding opening part and a fold line L10 for folding inward of the width direction, an end part 13saew of the absorbent body in the width direction, and a corresponding belt member out of the pair of belt members, is fixed to a fixing target part j10w on the folded end part 13ew.
