PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that is able to improve fitness and prevent leakage while ensuring absorption performance even when the absorbent article is used for a long time.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 has a squeezed groove 50 in which a surface sheet 10 and absorber 30 extending in a longitudinal direction L are compressed in a thickness direction T. The squeezed groove 50 has a pair of first longitudinal squeezed grooves 51, and a pair of second longitudinal squeezed grooves 52 arranged outside both the first longitudinal squeezed grooves 51 in a width direction. The absorber 30 sandwiched between the pair of second longitudinal squeezed grooves 52 has at least one or more narrow parts 55, in which the interval between the pair of second longitudinal squeezed grooves 52 is narrowed in the width direction. In either one of the first longitudinal squeezed grooves 51 and second longitudinal squeezed grooves 52, a high squeezed part 56 and a low squeezed part 57 are alternately arranged in the longitudinal direction L. The other of the first longitudinal squeezed grooves 51 and second longitudinal squeezed grooves 52 are composed of only the high squeezed parts 56.
