PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of sulfide deodorant and deodorant thereof are provided to completely remove odor cause with deodorant manufactured by mixing red mud and solid formulation. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of sulfide deodorant comprises the following steps. In refining Bayer process which extracts aluminum hydroxide within bauxite obtains red mud powder by-product. Mixes and kneads solid formulation to red mud powder. Manufacture kneaded mixture to molded product of pellet or ring form using screw extruder. Dry molded product in the dryer. Solid formulation is manufactured in a gel state by mixing starch 5~20 weight unit in water 100 weight unit and heats up over 100>；=.본 발명은 황화합물 악취제거제 제조방법 및 이를 이용한 악취제거제에 관한 것으로, 더욱 바람직하게는 지표수의 영양염류 및 중금속 제거를 위한 매체로서 사용되는 보오크사이트 내 수산화알루미늄 추출하는 바이엘 프로세스(Bayer prpcess) 정제 공정에서 부산되는 레드머드를 건조시켜 얻어진 흡착제와 고형분을 혼합하여 반죽한 후, 스크류 압출기에 투입하여 펠릿 또는 환 형태로 제조하여 악취유발물질인 황화수소 및 황화합물 등 극성을 띄는 황계열의 냄새를 완전히 제거할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다. 상기 제조방법은 보오크사이트 내 수산화알루미늄 추출하는 바이엘 프로세스(Bayer prpcess) 정제 공정에서 부산되는 레드머드분말과 고형제를 혼합하여 반죽하는 공정과, 상기 반죽된 혼합물을 스크류 압출기를 이용하여 펠렛 또는 환 형태의 성형물로 제조하는 공정과, 상기 성형물을 건조기에서 건조하는 공정을 포함하여 황화합물 악취제거제를 얻게 된다.
