A device for collecting a tissue sample includes a needle body extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending longitudinally therethrough and a plurality of cut outs extending laterally into the needle body, each of the plurality of cut outs extending at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis from an outer surface of the needle body toward the distal end thereof so that the channel is open to an exterior of the needle body via the plurality of cut outs.Linvention concerne un dispositif permettant de recueillir un échantillon de tissu comprenant un corps daiguille sétendant le long dun axe longitudinal depuis une extrémité proximale jusquà une extrémité distale et comprenant un canal sétendant longitudinalement à travers ce dernier et une pluralité de découpes sétendant latéralement dans le corps daiguille, chacune des découpes de la pluralité de découpes sétendant selon un certain angle par rapport à laxe longitudinal à partir dune surface extérieure du corps daiguille en direction de lextrémité distale de cette dernière de sorte que le canal est ouvert sur lextérieur du corps daiguille par lintermédiaire de la pluralité de découpes.
