To provide a curry sauce for microwave oven cooking to which ingredients are added and cooked with a microwave oven to obtain a curry stew, and with which curry flavor is thoroughly given to the ingredients even by microwave oven cooking where the ingredients and the sauce are directly heated and thereby cooking is finished in a short time and without boiling over to provide a packaged curry sauce for microwave oven cooking produced by putting ingredients in a container charged with such curry sauce for microwave oven cooking to cook them with a microwave oven and to provide a method for producing a curry stew of ingredients including the use of the curry sauce or the packaged curry sauce.

SOLUTION: The curry sauce for microwave oven cooking is cooked with a microwave oven after addition of ingredients to obtain the curry stew, and contains 0.01-2% of cumin and 5-70 pts.mass of turmeric and 100-1,000 pts.mass of coriander based ON 100 pts.mass of the cumin. The packaged curry sauce for microwave oven cooking is produced by putting ingredients in a container charged with the curry sauce for microwave oven cooking to cook them with a microwave oven. The method for producing the curry stew of ingredients with a microwave oven includes the use of the curry sauce or the packaged curry sauce.
