To provide packaged curry sauce for microwave oven cooking to which ingredients are added and cooked with a microwave oven to obtain curry stew of the ingredients and which is free from boiling over and thoroughly gives spicy taste specific to curry to ingredients even when finishing cooking of the ingredients and the sauce in a short time.

SOLUTION: The packaged curry sauce for microwave oven cooking is produced by adding 0.005-0.04 mass% of Capsicum oleoresin to the curry sauce and contains 100-5,000 pts.mass of pepper based ON 100 pts.mass of the Capsicum oleoresin and contains or does not contain &le 0.5 mass% of the capsicum based ON the curry sauce in terms of DRY matter and by putting ingredients into a container charged with the curry sauce and cooking the mixture with a microwave oven to obtain curry stew.
