PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which achieves both thinness and absorption capacity of an absorber at a high level, and gives a sense of security and comfortable wearing feeling when the absorbent article is worn.MEANS: An absorbent article comprises a front surface sheet, a rear surface sheet, and a fluid holding absorber disposed between the front surface sheet and the rear surface sheet. A second sheet is disposed between the front surface sheet and the absorber. The absorber has a density higher than 0.12 g/cm3.
