PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage by securely fitting an absorbent article to the interlabial region, to prevent a users hand from getting filthy when the absorbent article is changed, and to reduce labor in changing the absorbent article.
SOLUTION: A liquid-permeable front surface sheet 3 and a liquid-impermeable rear surface sheet 2 are formed approximately in an H-shape composed of vertically long side parts 11, 11 and a center part 12 disposed between the side parts 11 and 11 as seen from the top, and an absorber element 8 to be attached to the interlabial region is interposed at the center in the lateral direction of the center part 12 between the both sheets 2 and 3. Of the center part 12, sheet portions on both side parts where the absorber element 8 is not interposed are turned up to the rear surface side respectively, so that the inner side edges of the both side parts 11 are approximated to each other or layered on each other. An outer surface sheet member 10 to integrally cover the both side parts 11 and 11 is joined to the outer surface side of the rear surface sheet 2 of the both side parts 11 and 11 to form a loop-shaped interlabial pad P which is continued from the center on the front surface side of the both side parts 11 and 11 by the center part 12 and opened in the longitudinal direction.
