PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which the deformation such as wrinkles is not caused in a skin contact portion, and leakage due to wrinkles or the like can be prevented even at walking or the like.SOLUTION: The absorbent article is configured by interposing an absorber 3 between a liquid permeable top sheet 1 arranged at a surface side and a liquid impermeable sheet 2 arranged at a rear side, wherein a compressed groove is given from a skin contact surface of the liquid permeable top sheet to the absorber. The compressed groove has a first forward compression section 11 and a first rear side compression section 12 in a substantially symmetrical shape for a width direction centerline at a forward side and a backward side of an excretion entrance contact section.
