PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary pad for absorption having both of a simple absorbing function and an absorbing capacity increasing function.
SOLUTION: The auxiliary pad 1 for absorption is constituted so that an absorber 4 is interposed between a liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 and a liquid-permeable back sheet 2 and a liquid-impermeable or hardly liquid-permeable leakproof sheet 6 is arranged on the outer surface side of the liquid-permeable back sheet 2 so as to be fixed to the outer peripheral part of the outer surface of the liquid-permeable back sheet 2. The leakproof sheet 6 is made possible to be cut off at the central part in its width direction along its longitudinal direction. The absorbing auxiliary pad 1 is used so as to be capable of selecting a use made mounting the surface of the liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 so as to set the same on a skin surface side without cutting off the leakproof sheet 6 at the central part in its width direction and a use mode mounting the surface of the liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 so as to set the same on the skin surface side in a state that the leakproof sheet 6 is cut off at the central part in its width direction and the leakproof sheet parts on respective left and right sides are turned over toward the liquid-permeable surface sheet 3.
