The present invention relates to an odor removing carrier using water glass and silica hume and a producing method thereof. More particularly, an organic material containing clay and carbon components is mixed to combinations including the incinerated slag, the water glass and the silica fume to form a rigid porous carrier and to remove odors generated during a water treatment process. In addition, the present invention utilizes the incinerated molten slag mainly used as a building material such as cement or concrete, and made into a water treatment carrier, thereby having an effect of recycling resources. 본 발명은 물유리(waterglass) 및 실리카 흄(silica hume)을 이용한 악취제거 담체 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로는 점토 및 탄소 성분을 함유하는 유기성 물질에 소각슬래그, 물유리 및 실리카 흄 등이 포함된 결합물을 혼합하여 단단한 다공성 담체를 형성하여 수처리 공정 중 발생되는 악취를 제거하는 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 주로 시멘트나 콘크리트 등 건축 자재로 사용되는 소각재 용융슬래그를 활용하여 수처리용 담체로 제조하여 자원재활용이 되는 효과가 있다.
