PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that simplifies a daily watering work to plants and can stably supply necessary amount of water corresponding to fluctuation in necessary water amount.SOLUTION: A device is provided for watering plants, comprising: a water container shallowly buried under the ground near roots of a plant a water supplying unit with a mechanism to keep a water level of the water container constantly and a water absorber for supplying water in the water container to the outer soil by capillarity. The device is used with one end of the water absorber being soaked in water in the water container, and the another end being in contact with cultivation soil outside the water container. In this configuration, watering is performed with the water level in the water container being lower than a surface of the cultivation soil, and the water absorber being in contact with the cultivation soil at a position higher than the water level.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 植物へ日々行う灌水作業を簡単化し、必要水量の変動に対して必要な量を安定して供給する方法を提供する。【解決手段】 植物の根の近くの土中に浅く埋めた水容器、その水容器の水面高さを一定に保つ機構のある水供給装置、および、水容器内の水を外部の土に毛管現象により供給するための吸水体で構成されている。該吸水体の一端は水容器内部の水に浸かり、他端は水容器外の栽培土と接触して使用される。この構成において、水容器内の水面高さは、栽培土表面よりも下であり、吸水体は水面よりも高い位置で栽培土と接触させて灌水する。【選択図】図2
