The present invention relates to liposome formulations that are physically stable. In particular the present invention relates to steric stabilization of cationic liposomes by incorporating glycolipids into the liposomes. The stabilized liposomes can be used either as an adjuvant for antigenic components or as a drug delivery system. In particular the invention relates to vaccines with adjuvants in aqueous media for immunization, where the final product is stable.본 발명은 물리적으로 안정한 리포솜 제형들에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 당지질이 리포솜 내로 함입되도록 하는 독특한 박막 방법에 의한 양이온 리포솜들의 입체적 안정화에 관한 것이다. 상기 안정화된 리포솜들은 항원 성분들을 위한 보강제(adjuvant) 또는 약물 전달 시스템(DDS) 중 어느 하나로서 이용될 수 있다. 특히 본 발명은 최종 산물이 안정되고, 면역을 위한 수성 매질(aqueous media)의 보강제들을 갖는 백신에 관한 것이다.
