PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier device that suppresses blowing of a particulate matter during carrying, and a printer including the carrier device.SOLUTION: A carrier device includes a second carrying conveyor 33 and a carrying-out conveyor 34. In the second carrying conveyor 33, a conveyor belt 33C is annularly wound around horizontally disposed pulleys 33A, 33B. A plurality of holding parts are provided on an outer surface of the conveyor belt 33C. When the holding parts move to a delivery position, a blow mechanism 33D ejects air from the holding parts, and tablets held by the holding parts are pulled apart. The delivery position is a position higher than a vertically downward direction and lower than a horizontal direction passing through a center point of the pulley 33A, on an outer peripheral surface of the pulley 33A.
