A transport device comprises a second transport conveyor and a discharge conveyor. In the second transport conveyor, a transport belt is suspended across horizontally disposed pulleys. The outer surface of the transport belt is provided with a plurality of holding units. When the holding unit moves to a transfer position, a tablet held by the holding unit is separated by blowing air from the holding unit with a blow mechanism. The transfer position is a position on the outer circumferential face of the pulley above the vertical down direction and below the horizontal direction passing through the center point of the pulley.
