The invention relates to medicine and can be used for producing medicinal agent substances. The inventive method for isolating sulphated glycosaminoglycans consists in washing a mechanically cleaned tissue, in exposing said tissue in a solution of 0.1M phosphate pH 5.8-6.0 buffer heated to a temperature of 65 °C for 30 minutes, in overcooking the tissue in the solution of activated 0.1-0.4 % papain at a temperature of 65 °c for 6-24 hours, in cooling said papain digest to a temperature of 4 °C, in removing fats and undigested tissue residues by filtering, in selectively isolating the sulphated glycosaminoglycans during a time of 10-4 hours on a solid carrier, which is obtained from a bone tissue collagen and whose particle size ranges from 0-01 to 0.35 cm3, in washing the carrier by 0.05-0.1 N-hydrochloric acid, in degreasing and eluating the carrier by a solution of 0.6-0.15 N-mineral salt in 0.8 N-acetic acid or in 0-01-0-025 N-alkali liquor, in precipitating the sulphated glycosaminoglycans with ethanol, in centrifuging with 1500 r.p.m. for 15 minutes at a temperature of 4 °C, in washing the precipitate with ethanol or acetone, in drying and sterilising it.
