PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for maintaining quality of powder instant coffee such as flavor and freshness of the instant coffee for a long term, the instant coffee being left in a container after the container is opened.SOLUTION: A container and a use method of the powder instant coffee are same to those in a prior art, and the powder instant coffee is subdivided into a constant amount, and the subdivided instant coffee is made into a solid which is a constant small pea-sized solid, by a method of a compression formation or the like, and a food product which is easily dissolved in a liquid and does not transmit air coats the solid-state instant coffee, for maintaining quality of the instant coffee for a long term, thereby, quality of the powder instant coffee such as flavor and freshness left in the container can be maintained since opening of the container until an expiration date of the instant coffee, and a method for maintaining the quality of the instant coffee such as flavor and freshness is also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】粉末インスタントコーヒーの容器開封後の容器内の残る粉末インスタントコーヒーを長期にわたり風味や鮮度等の品質を保持することを可能とする方法の提供。【解決手段】粉末インスタントコーヒーの容器や使用方法はそのままに、粉末インスタントコーヒーを一定量に小分けし、これを圧縮形成などの方法で一定の小さい豆粒状に固形とし、これに長期品質保持のため液体に溶けやすく空気を通さない食品でコーティングすることで、容器開封後から賞味期限まで容器内に残る粉末インスタントコーヒーの風味や鮮度などの品質を保つ方法並び、長期に亘って風味や鮮度等の品質を保てる粉末インスタントコーヒー。【選択図】なし
