PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing bath agents such as a carbonated-spring bath agent, the method effectively and intensively causes a neutralization reaction in the agent despite the fact that the pH of the aqueous solution in which the agent melts becomes neutral in order to generate bubbles, as small as possible, of carbon dioxide gas for a consecutive specific time so as to make the most of the generated carbon dioxide gas dissolved in the water without allowing its escape in the air, thus the method makes the concentration of total carbon acid component in the water become high so that the carbon dioxide gas in touch with human skin easily becomes bicarbonate ions to be absorbed through the skin due to the pH of the aqueous solution, and to provide an agent produced by the method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing an agent by compression molding, the method performing compression molding of bicarbonate (sodium hydrogen carbonate or potassium hydrogen carbonate), organic acid of 1/10 to 1/3 of the bicarbonate, and polyethylene glycol of 1/100 to 1/5 of the bicarbonate, wherein pH of an aqueous solution in which the agent was melted is 5.5 to 8.5, the rigidity of the agent is 15 kg or more, and the diameter direction and thickness direction are each 7 mm or more.【課題】錠剤が溶解した後の水溶液のPHは中性となるにもかかわらず、錠剤内部では効率よく激しく中和反応を起こさせ、可能な限り小さなサイズの炭酸ガス泡を一定時間継続的に発泡させることで、発生した炭酸ガスの大部分を空気中に逃がさず水中に溶解させ、水中の総炭酸成分を高濃度にし、その水溶液のPHから皮膚に触れた炭酸ガスは容易に重炭酸イオンとなり経皮吸収されるよう設計された、炭酸泉入浴剤等の錠剤の製造方法及び錠剤の提供。【解決手段】重炭酸塩(炭酸水素ナトリウム又は炭酸水素カリウム)に対し1/10から1/3の有機酸及び1/100から1/5のポリエチレングリコールの存在下に、圧縮成型する錠剤の製造方法において、錠剤を溶解した後の水溶液のPHが5.5から8.5であり、錠剤の硬度が15kg以上、錠剤の直径及び厚さ方向がそれぞれ7mm以上となるように圧縮成型によって錠剤を製造する。【選択図】なし
