To provide an operation member that improves operability of a casting control mechanism in a dual-bearing reel.SOLUTION: A dual-bearing reel 100 includes a reel body 1, a first side cover 8, and a casting control mechanism 6. The reel body 1 has a first side plate 7a, and a second side plate 7b provided at intervals in an axial direction of the first side plate 7a and a spool shaft 2. The first side cover 8 has a cover part 10 arranged so as to cover the first side plate side 7a of the reel body 1 and positioned in the outside of an axial direction more than the first side plate 7a, a swollen part 11 swelling in the outside of the axial direction more than the cover part 10, and a first boss part 13 formed by projecting from the swollen part 11 to the outside of the axial direction and having the spool shaft 2 inserted thereto.
