PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a temperature rise in the inside of a centrifugal filter during continuous running.SOLUTION: A centrifugal filter 2 has a filter body 15 equipped with a rotary part 14 and a chamber 16 which houses the filter body 15. The rotary part 14 has a liquid chamber 27, a membrane filter 26 detachably provided in the liquid chamber 27, and a drainage part 42 that discharges a filtrate produced by the membrane filter 26. The centrifugal filter 2 further has a liquid cooling mechanism 44 in the rotary part 14 before filtration by the membrane filter 26. The cooling mechanism 44 preferably has a first external communication hole 39 located above the rotary part 14 to communicate with the outside of the chamber 16 and a second external communication hole 40 located below the rotary part 14 outside the first external communication hole 39 in a radial direction of the rotary part 14 to communicate with the outside of the chamber 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
