PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having a skin surface sheet with improved texture, giving a further soft impression to a wear assistant such as a mother and allowing the wear assistant to clothe a wearer feeling at ease.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 10 includes: a crotch stretchable part 200 disposed at a crotch area an auxiliary sheet 55 disposed between a skin surface sheet 50 and an absorber 40 and a first notch 115 and a second notch 125 that are formed on the absorber and in which the basis weight of absorbent materials are lower than that of a periphery in the inside of the absorber. The crotch stretchable part is overlapped with at least a par of the low basis weight part, the absorber, and the auxiliary sheet, in plane view.
