PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper improving the texture of a skin surface sheet, giving a soft impression to a wearing assistant such as a mother, and causing the wearing assistant to safely clothe a wearer.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 10 includes: a crotch stretchable part 200 disposed at a crotch area an auxiliary sheet 55 disposed between the skin surface sheet 50 and an absorber 40 and a first notch 115 and a second notch 125 that are formed on the absorber and have a basis weight of an absorption material lower than that of a peripheral part in the absorber. In the plane view, the crotch stretchable part is overlapped with at least parts of the low basis weight parts, the absorber, and the auxiliary sheet. The crotch stretchable part is disposed between the absorber and a non-skin-surface sheet in the thickness direction.
