PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter capable of expanding a narrow part and a part of a stent to be expanded locally while suppressing deterioration of medical economic efficiency associated with use of a plurality of balloon catheters.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter 100 includes: a first shaft 110 having a first lumen 110a that extends in an axial direction a first balloon 130 provided on the tip side of the first shaft that can be expanded and deformed, and contracted and deformed in the radial direction a second shaft 120 having a second lumen 120a that extends in a coaxial direction with the first shaft and a second balloon 140 provided on the tip side of the second shaft so as to cover the outer periphery of the first balloon that can be expanded and deformed, and contracted and deformed in the radial direction.
