PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable pants-type diaper in which leg gathers are suitably formed in the leg periphery of a wearer, and the leg periphery is neatly formed.SOLUTION: A disposable pants-type diaper 1 includes: an exterior member 2 formed in a pants-shape and having a waist opening part and a pair of leg opening parts, and an absorbent body 7 attached to the crotch part of the exterior member 2, and having a top sheet 8 and a back sheet 9, and an absorbent core 10 arranged therebetween. The absorbent body 7 is formed so as not to extend to the outside in the width direction x than the outer edge of the exterior member 2, and is formed with a side edge part 11 where the absorbent core 10 does not exist, on both ends in the width direction x. The exterior member 2 is provided with a leg part elastic member 16 so as to let at least part thereof be overlapped on the side edge part 11 along the edge of the leg opening part, and the side edge part 11 is not fixed to the exterior member 2 in a part overlapped on the leg part elastic member 16.
