PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper that exerts desired absorption performance even if an absorbent body 2C includes a narrowed section 2C1.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 is provided with at least one pair of leg-encircling elastic members 3, which are stretchable in a product length direction L and located outside the positions of a maximum width Wnax of the absorbent body 2C in a product width direction W, and at least one pair of inner elastic members 4, which are stretchable in the product length direction L and located inside the leg-encircling elastic members 3 in the product width direction W and outside the positions of a maximum width Wmax1/Wmax2 of the absorbent body 2C in the product width direction W.
